Q&A Café: Financial Reporting Structure in SAP Business ByDesign - Part 2
In prior sessions we've looked at how to build generic reports using the report builder in ByDesign as well as the add-on in Excel. In this session we will focus specifically on the structure for Financial Reports. How to modify the Income Statement and the concept of using Functional Areas to role up similar accounts or groups of cost centres. We will also explore the structure of the Balance Sheet, how to add new accounts. We will look at how to maintain different versions of financial reports so they can roll up data in different ways for different audiences.
